Internet Hotline Center (hereafter IHC) will deal personal information according to laws and regulations by: establishing the privacy policy as shown below; establishing an organizational structure on the protection of personal information; thoroughly raising the awareness of the IHC employees on the importance of privacy protection; and by enforcing appropriate measures.

Acquisition of personal information

IHC may acquire the name, email address and affiliation of the users, etc. through reports when responding to illegal information based on IHC’s operational guidelines and when responding to inquiries.

Purpose of use of personal information

Personal information of users, etc. is used when IHC makes contacts with the users, etc. and when responding to inquiries.

Management of personal information

IHC manages personal information safely in order to prevent loss, corruption, falsification, leakage of and illegal access to personal information, by conducting necessary measures such as, maintenance of security system, management of control systems and thorough education.

Personal information which is no longer necessary will be disposed of within 3 months after the end of use.

Outsourcing of the handling of personal information

IHC outsources duties such as reception of reports, etc. to external operators specializing in this field, and appropriately monitors the operators according to laws and regulations.

Prohibition of disclosure and provision of personal information to third parties

IHC will not provide personal information of users, etc. to third parties without the prior consent of the relevant individuals or unless it is permitted by laws and regulations.

Disclosure, etc. of personal data possessed by IHC

Please contact IHC through the “contact form” if you would like to request a disclosure, etc. of personal data possessed by IHC. IHC will send the disclosure application form and will explain the prescribed procedures, handling charge, etc. (Requests that do not comply with IHC’s procedures, etc. cannot be accepted.)
